I’m a bit blogged out after yesterday’s analysis of Illinois’ school advisory metrics. As a result you’re getting mostly graphics this week and not much commentary.

We got a report of the county’s second COVID related death today, an 80-100 year old male. In addition to this bad news we saw a fair number of youth cases this week and numbers were up compared to last week. There’s a small chance we’ll go back on warning due to this week’s numbers, but it looks like the positive test rate is just low enough to keep us out of the orange. We’ll have to see how the state counts things.

No new graphics this week but I am shifting my reporting to Saturday’s so this week’s county graphs cover eight new days. This also means the regional data will lag behind by a day.
